Product Features
Covering Acrylic Primer is a water-based, acrylic copolymer, matt filled primer for interior and exterior surfaces. It offers excellent adhesion on all substrates, fast drying and high alkali resistance. By sealing surface micro-pores it acts as a bridge between the substrate and the topcoat, improving adhesion and significantly reducing paint consumption.
Areas of Use
Applied before topcoat on all plastered interior and exterior surfaces: cement render, gypsum plaster, concrete, aerated concrete, brick and mineral-based substrates. Essential primer for fresh plaster and highly absorbent surfaces.
Application
Scrape off and clean all dirty, dusty, flaking or previously painted surfaces thoroughly. Thin with 10% water by volume and apply in a single coat by roller. Coverage: approx. 10–12 m² per kg. Allow to dry fully before applying topcoat. Application temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C.
